Having a complicated family history , a lot of variables are at stake, reputation and responsibility. The days of reckless banters and publicity stunts are over. My grandfather is dead and so is my father, maturity calls.

BELGICA THE STORY

In Asia there was a Kid connected to the Royals, He was born not on auspicious times and of a mother not of royal status and so the kingship and Kingdom decided to set apart the kid from the kingdom, to be taken care of by the Royal palace at a distance and so that the kid might not interfere with the affairs of the council and the king. Many years later the kid grew older and on the side was sent to a distant land due to threats towards the Kingdom, the misfortunes of the palace and its people on hindsight the young adult witnessed. On his journey as a young adult and by the financial provisions of the kingdom He entered a new life in a new part of Asia.

MEETING WITH PIRATES

As a kid roaming the lands trying to learn as much as he can, forming new memories and learning new languages. He meets pirates selling goods looted from a nearby nation. Pirates offered him gifts as per loyalty and friendship to the brotherhood by not telling and seldom taken to adventures and introduced to a life of a pirate. The pirate has a code “I get rich of what I steal but I provide them cheap to the commoners appeal.” Arrr mi mate.

GETTING MARRIED

Having the name of a fallen kingdom fighting for its life as a problem to come, the young man met a girl that would put his name as a sacrifice for love. The girl is of a Christian family and as per marriage only if a Christian husband is , to be suited for a blessed and auspicious marriage. He not of a Christian faith will be in dilemma of how will life continue as the kingdom falls. The woman of Christian and Chinese ancestry The young lad pondered for weeks on this scenario. A conclusion was made a decision was stated. “I shall be a Christian, a life a new and may Allah have mercy on my soul.” He then gathered all his belongings and riches provided by the falling kingdom and went to a Belgian Christian minister and asked. “If a shall change my faith and my name how shall it be?” The Belgian minister responded “you must be adopted by a Christian family for you to change your name. Changing your name for no reason is not permitted unless you are in danger in these parts of Asia. ” He in despair went home for he thought that it is no use, marriage is not to be and the kingdom falling, He can’t do anything but pray.

THE PIRATES WISDOM

Thinking about marriage and hopelessness on how to move forward. He then remembers the pirates that taught him the ways of mischief. “If you cannot buy them steal them. ” How can I steal my name, How can I change my name. Will conversion grant me a new name? The young man has no intention of abandoning his faith but for the reason of marriage and legacy he decided to convert but thus removes him from the provision of the falling kingdom. The name that burdens him He wishes to be changed but will the church and state grant him that ? Will a new Christian life be? The pirate says “If you cannot buy em steal em.”

STEALING FROM ALLAH

The young man prayed and asked forgiveness. He seeked to get all the provisions of the kingdom , the house and the capital and spare gold and silver. He asked forgiveness to Allah and that he may be granted freedom from the horrors of thy kingdom during Jihad. Allah in a form of a moon shed light on him. “Thy provisions to you be sacrificed to continue charity in a far away land alien of the ways of Islam, you shall pursue. Allah” In doubt he gathered all the money and paper assets and went to the minister. “Oh! Belgica how can I change my name and pursue marriage. I feel hopeless and our kingdom has fallen and I think God has abandoned us. My prayers are unclear and no longer of great light.” The Belgian Minister replied ” I have a way for you, If you decide to donate to a church and provide capital to build a church then I shall grant adoption of you as an orphan with a Christian name under the name of our country ‘Belgica’. By this you will be legally adopted by a Christian family as clergy men, your parents. By the age of Maturity by proper thinking then you can choose a name that suits you and your bride to be in a Christian marriage. these are our conditions based on our laws and that I can make it happen.” He decided and gave a grant and donation to the Christian church and he adopted as ‘Belgica’.

MARRIAGE AND CHRISTIANITY

The new person as Belgica now is a Christian, He married his wife 6 years later and had a number of kids. He looks out of the window looking at the distance on how is the kingdom that in the news has fallen and his relatives scattered through out Asia. He ponders on what his life will be ? What will be my name under the sanctuary of the church and the state of Belgium ?
