FACEBOOK is BROKEN
Facebook is broken and so it is time to delete the damn app for the rest of my life. I am sorry Mark I believed in your vision for the Metaverse but your algorithm and people are nut jobs. Since the first business and brand was created on facebook pages that made us thousands of dollars up to the day when facebook started to cater towards unknown entities such as corp xyz or xyz entertainment. Facebook became a joke. I Majos Belgica started out on facebook I will not say that facebook is useless, it is very helpful for startups and brand building but 2019 – 2022 it started to behave differently over sensitive community standards notifications and senseless errors in the ads system. View count changes and metric problems was all over the place. It is still now, I dare you to create a business account and do a 2 month marketing camapaign, It will not grow up to a ‘whatever’ based on an unknown standard that facebook coders developed. It is trash, unjust and broken, but still a good platform to create content. If you can reach a real audience. If they still exist.
In reality I do not want to quit the app, it is a good app the portal idea is great. Live streams and connecting people as a network in preparation to an integrated material to digital metaverse is very promising. The only thing that made me think of unplugging is the network of people who pointlessly, I repeat ‘POINTLESSLY’ harass account holders based on whatever. I remember one night I was just browsing and I get disabled for days for some unknown reason or maybe my silly comment I posted based on the GIF database that they provided. How can I violate the community standards based on your own databse of GIF’s? This was a flaw so logically irritating that complaining about it is useless. Maybe somebody got offended based on a GIF. Context of a playing gay comedian such as ‘Pambansang Kolokoy’ posting a Gay GIF on his video and Him getting pissed maybe could be justified. It could be my error as a commentor that A comedian will be offended by a gay joke that he relentlessly reproduce in his material. I could think also that it is PK’s people managing the page who did the error or maybe it is facebook algorithm that noticed it and marked it as spam or offensive.
DUMBED DOWN COMPLIANCE
The scary part about the world today is dumbed down compliance, the addicitive mechanism of social media might have created a dumbed down compliant society that just follows the world of Ai and is no longer thinking of what is justifiable and what is offensive or violating. I can tell or see a lot of video creators on facebook getting paid money posting offensive and violating content while me a nobody commenter gets flagged? cmon’ it is rigged as hell. People I think no longer realize what is dumb and what is intelligent and maybe social media is really a matrix of compliant consumers inside a digital universe.
VIOLATING VIDEOS THAT GETS PAID ……..
A National translates the dialects and tagalog phrases wrongly into offensive curse words. Who flags that?
A man punching another man in the face for reasons of views. Who flags that?
A man pissed drunk puking all over somebody. Who flags that?
A man pretending to fuck her gf on camera for views. Who flags that?
A man pranking his wife with a sausage posing as a dick. Who flags that?
A man interviewing people offensively as a way to entertain. Who flags that?
A man getting thrown into a table (WWE do not try this at home). Who flags that?
A man cursing and acting as superior in traffic. Who flags that?
A man having a fist fight on the streets. Who flags that?
